The Ultra Fabrication York Pool League

Super League

With just four league games remaining, #UptheBish remain firmly in control at the top of the table after another crucial week in the title race.

A strong 8–4 victory over The Hammers at Green Hammerton Social Club keeps Bishopthorpe clear at the summit on 176 points, maintaining a five-point advantage over nearest challengers Clockhouse A.

Elsewhere, Clockhouse A stayed in pursuit with an 8–4 win over Clockhouse Z, ensuring the pressure remains on heading into the final stretch. Huntington WMC C also strengthened their hold on third place after an emphatic 11–1 demolition of Burton Warriors.

Further down the table, Dick Turpin A produced one of the standout performances of the week with a commanding 10–2 win over York Hospital Club A, while Heworth A and Lighthorseman shared the spoils in a tightly contested 6–6 draw. Huntington WMC B boosted their mid-table standing with an impressive 10–2 away win over Huntington WMC A.

With just four league fixtures left to play, the title race is reaching boiling point. #UptheBish lead the way on 176 points, but with Clockhouse A only five points behind, every leg will matter from here to the finish line.

Division 2 Clockhouse B march on !

League leaders Clockhouse B delivered a statement performance with a commanding 9–3 win over Rack’Em Up, further cementing their place at the summit. With 19 wins from 21 matches and a game in hand, they now look increasingly untouchable.

Second-placed Edinburgh Arms A were held to a 6–6 draw by Haxby Sports Bar, a result that opens the door slightly for the chasing pack but does little to close the gap at the top. Haxby, sitting third, continue to prove hard to beat with their eighth draw of the season

Key takeaway: Clockhouse B are in control , but the fight for second to sixth remains fiercely competitive.

Dovision 3 It's Touching Cloth

At the top of Division 3, Touching Cloth strengthened their title push with a dominant 10–2 win over York Hospital Club B, extending their lead to 12 points.

Closest challengers The Hammers Too kept pace with an 8–4 victory at Saddle Inn, while third-placed The Hogs Head B suffered a heavy 10–2 defeat to Crescent B, denting their hopes of closing the gap.

Huntington Sports Club B were in fine form, defeating The Beagle B 9–3, while The Windmill secured a solid 7–5 win away at The Beagle A to maintain their push for a top-four finish.

Further down the table, Ainsty A picked up a valuable 8–4 win at The Rec, keeping themselves within reach of mid-table.

Key takeaway: Touching Cloth are pulling away, but the race for promotion places behind them remains wide open.
