Ultra Fabrication York Pool League – Super League
Matchday 19 saw league leaders #UptheBish strengthen their position at the top with an emphatic 10–2 win away at Lighthorseman. Title rivals Clockhouse A kept pace with an impressive 9–3 victory over Huntington WMC A.
Clockhouse P secured a hard-fought 7–5 win against Heworth A, while Clockhouse Z and Dick Turpin A shared the points in a 6–6 draw. Huntington WMC B claimed local bragging rights with a 7–5 victory over Huntington WMC C, and Bishopthorpe SC A drew 6–6 with Burton Warriors.
The Hammers rounded off the night with a solid 7–5 away win at York Hospital Club A as the title race and mid-table battles continue to tighten heading into the final weeks of the season.
Division 2
Another competitive night in Division 2 saw leaders Clockhouse B suffer their first defeat of the season, going down 7–5 away to Heworth B, although they remain clear at the top of the table.
Edinburgh Arms A produced the performance of the night with a strong 9–3 victory over The Ozzy Osbournes, tightening the battle for second place. Haxby Sports Bar were held to a 6–6 draw by The Hogs Head A, keeping the promotion race wide open.
There were stalemates elsewhere as Lawrence 8 Ballers shared the spoils with The Mitre, while More Mitre and The Bay Horse also couldn’t be separated. The Cross Keys Dunnington boosted their top-four hopes with an impressive 9–3 win against Rack’Em Up, and Crescent A secured an 8–4 home victory over Edinburgh Legs.
Division 3
League leaders Touching Cloth were held to a 6–6 draw by The Hogs Head B, allowing second-placed The Hammers Too to close the gap following a hard-fought 7–5 victory over Crescent B. The title race remains finely poised with only a handful of matches remaining.
Elsewhere, Clockhouse W shared the spoils with Ainsty A in another 6–6 encounter, while Huntington Sports Club B and York Hospital Club B also couldn’t be separated.
The Rec secured an important 7–5 win against Saddle Inn, boosting their mid-table position, while the standout result of the night saw The Beagle B claim derby bragging rights with an emphatic 9–3 victory over The Beagle A.
With draws at the top and big wins elsewhere, the league table continues to tighten as the season heads towards an exciting conclusion.
