Div 3 Match Report - 07/01/26

Division 3

The top two, Hogs Head B and Hammers Too both won by identical scores 9-3, so the Hogs Head maintain their 2 point lead at the top. They both managed to put a bit more distance between them and the rest though.

The Hogs Head won at The Rec, Rich Guest and Oliver Bird winning all their 3 frames for the Hogs. The Hammers won at the Hospital Club B, Sean Bushby, Geoff Almond and Gary Gibson all winning their 3 frames, and as a result, Gary now goes to the top of the Player of the Season table. Sean, Geoff, Rich and Oliver are also in the top 9. 

The Crescent B came out on top, 7-5, against the Windmill in the battle of the 3rd and 4th placed teams. The Windmill though have a game in hand on the top 3. 

Win of the night goes to Touching Cloth who beat their stablemates Clockhouse W 10-2. That win moves them up to 4th and they also have a game in hand. Jason Annett won all 4 of his frames for Touching Cloth, Harry McInerney and Max Warren winning 3 and Jordan Worabec won both his for the Clock. 

Shock result of the night was a 8-4 win for Beagle A over Huntington Sports Club A. Captain Wayne Bond won all his 3 frames for the Beagle.

The Sports Club A remain in 5th but are now just 4 points ahead of their B team who had a tremendous 9-3 win against the Ainsty. Riane Leeming and Gareth Rees won all their 3 frames for the Sports Club. They go into the top half. 

In the final game of the night, the Saddle Inn gained their second win of their first season, 7-5 against the Beagle B. Elliott Peake won 3 frames for the Ainsty.
