Big Wins Light Up Matchday 3 in the Ultra Fabrication York Pool League

The Ultra Fabrication York Pool League continued on Wednesday night, with several commanding performances across the three divisions.

Super League

The result of the night came at Bishopthorpe Sports and Social Club, where #UptheBish demolished Clockhouse B 11–1. Last season’s runners-up remain unbeaten and have now collected five points from their opening three matches.

Reigning champions Clock A SN were equally impressive, recording a dominant 10–2 away victory over Heworth A.

UptheClub returned to winning ways with an excellent 9–3 victory at Lighthorseman, while Huntington WMC A continued their unbeaten start by defeating Clockhouse Z 8–4.

The remaining two matches ended level. Clockhouse P shared the points with Bishopthorpe SC A, while Dick Turpin A and The Hammers also finished 6–6.

Haxby Sports Bar maintained their perfect start with a comprehensive 10–2 victory over The Bay Horse, making it three wins from three.

York Hospital Club A are also unbeaten after recording their third consecutive victory, beating Edinburgh Arms A 8–4.

The Ozzy Osbournes edged a competitive encounter against Touching Cloth 7–5, while Crescent A secured their first victory of the season with an 8–4 success against The Mitre.

Edinburgh Legs bounced back from two opening defeats in style, beating Heworth B 9–3. The Hogs Head A claimed the bragging rights in the Hogs Head derby with an 8–4 victory over The Hogs Head B.

The Gillygate produced Division 3’s biggest win of the evening, defeating Wigginton Squash & Social Club 10–2.

Dick Turpin B continued their excellent opening to the campaign with a hard-fought 7–5 victory away to The Beeswing, while The Nags Head earned an impressive 9–3 win at Clockhouse W.

Beagles Best defeated York Hospital Club B 8–4, with Huntington Sports Club A recording the same scoreline away to Lawrence B.

In the rescheduled Matchday 3 fixture, Huntington Workies D beat The Rec 8–4 to maintain their winning start.
