What a night! 🎱🏆

First of all, a huge thank you to the Read & Simonstone Club for hosting our Charity Cup Final and Presentation Night. Having over 70 people turn out to watch the final and make the trip over to Read was fantastic to see.

The final certainly delivered, with both teams giving it everything. George IV took an early 2-0 lead, but The League D hit straight back to level at 2-2. George IV responded to go 4-2 up, but The League D just kept coming back. At 5-4 it could have gone either way. Jordan Balmbra then edged George IV 6-4 ahead and put them within touching distance of the trophy. George IV finished an already great final in style, with Scott Bamber producing a superb 8-ball clearance against Paul Machell to seal a 7-4 win. Congratulations to the George IV, who celebrated well into the night, and well played to The League D for a cracking contest.

A big thank you also to the fantastic and very funny Albi Senior. It's easy to see why he's been one of Benidorm's top comedians for so many years. He went for a few of you, and you all took it well!

Thanks as well to No.81 Indian Restaurant for providing a mountain of food. Your support is massively appreciated.

As for the presentation, we had over 100 people in the room, clapping and cheering on the winners throughout. Over £1,300 in prize money was handed out, along with 33 trophies and awards across team and individual categories. Congratulations again to all the winners.

Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a good and successful night.

We go again this Monday for the new season!
