League leaders #UptheBish delivered a stunning statement of intent with an emphatic 11–1 away win over Dick Turpin A, strengthening their grip on top spot
Closest challengers Huntington WMC C kept the pressure on with a commanding 9–3 victory over Huntington WMC A, while Clockhouse A matched that scoreline at home against York Hospital Club A to remain firmly in the title race.
In the middle of the table, Bishopthorpe SC A claimed a vital 8–4 win over Lighthorseman, as the visitors’ struggles at the foot of the league continued. Burton Warriors edged a tense encounter 7–5 against Clockhouse P, while Clockhouse Z secured a crucial 7–5 success over Huntington WMC B.
Elsewhere, Heworth A impressed with a convincing 9–3 home win over The Hammers, keeping them well placed in the top half as the season moves into its decisive phase.

Division 2
Clockhouse B delivered the performance of the night extending there lead at the top of the table , running riot at home with a flawless 12–0 whitewash against The Bay Horse. From the opening frame, Clockhouse were untouchable and never let their opponents settle.
Over at Edinburgh Arms, the hosts Edinburgh Arms A pushed Crescent A all the way in a thrilling contest, but Crescent edged it 7–5 after a tense finish, showing great composure under pressure.
Haxby Sports Bar made home advantage count in a lively encounter, seeing off More Mitre 7–5. With frames swinging both ways, Haxby held their nerve to close it out late on.
A dominant display from Lawrence 8 Ballers saw them cruise to a 10–2 victory against Rack’Em Up. Clinical finishing and tight safety play proved the difference.
Edinburgh Legs impressed on the road, overcoming The Hogs Head A 8–4. A strong middle spell allowed the visitors to pull clear and control the match.
At The Mitre, Heworth B were in ruthless form, chalking up a commanding 9–3 away win to keep their momentum rolling.
Finally, The Cross Keys Dunnington produced a statement performance at Osbaldwick Sports Club, dismantling The Ozzy Osbournes 11–1 with a relentless display from start to finish.

Division 3
The Hogs Head B held onto top spot in the division with a 9-3 win at Fulford’s Saddle Inn. Captain Ben Wozniak won all this 3 frames for the Hogs. Come back of the week goes to the Ainsty who came back from 2-6 down to draw with previously 2nd placed the Hammers Too. Ben Johnson was central to their comeback winning all 3 of his frames (Geoff Almond won both his for the Hammers). The Hammers now have 3 players in the top 5 of the Player of the Season table and could a smart bet for automatic promotion at this stage.
Having moved up to 3rd last week when they won their game in hand, Touching Cloth this week moved up one place further to 2nd with a good 8-4 win at the Crescent, Jason Annett won all his 4 frames for Touching Cloth. And Jason has moved to the top of the Player of the Season table, on overall percentage of frames won from Huntington Sports Club A’s Danny James. These two have now opened up a 3 frame gap over the rest. The Crescent are still in 6th but lost touch a bit with the leading group.
4th placed The Windmill won 7-5 at Huntington Sports Club B. Tom Mullen and Raffaele Ingriselli won 3 frames each for the Windmill, Austen Aldridge won all 3 of his frames for the Sports Club. Hanging onto the Windmill’s sails in 5th are Huntington Sports Club A who had a good 8-4 win at the Rec. Captain Steve Pepper won all 3 of his frames for the Sports Club which moves him into the top 10 in the Player of the Season table.
In the other two games, the Hospital Club B beat the Beagle B 7-5. Captain Jade Ross won all her 3 frames for the Beagle. And the Beagle A and Clockhouse W drew 6-6. Brad Kelly won all his 3 frames for the Beagle and Stephen Doswell won all his 3 for the Clock.
