Team Gurkha Corner duo of Becs McCool & Ant Clarke were on cue to retain the Mixed Doubles title beating Lucky Break pairing of Michelle Currin & Chris Lord in the play off final. It wasn’t all plain sailing for the Coton Roaders as Coton Sports pair Karen Moore and Karl Hinchen were 2 - 0 up and looking good in the opening match of the round robin final, but the holders dug deep to turn the match around at take it 3 – 2. Currin and Lord also edged the unlucky Moore & Hinchen to make the title play off.
