Midland held by Kingswood but remain top.
The top two in Division Two Midland Railway & Kingswood Tavern met this week in a keenly contested local derby. Wins from Ryan Balding, Josh Hockley, Paul Gosling and Ben Thomson put the Kings boys 4 - 2 in front, but the Mid hit back with some quick fire pool to take a 6 - 5 lead. Matt Guy (2 wins), Scott Preedy and the hot potting Emma Rose in the pot zone for the Railway, but thoughts of a great comeback win were quashed by Kingswood captain Gaz Bailey who took the final frame to pot a share of the points. Oakey Coaky were the biggest winners this week, they beat the Stag & Pheasant 10 - 2 and in the process move into 3rd place, Josh Higham & Keith Wilson amongst the winners for the Arbury Roaders. Matt Trigg & Clayton Harper inspired the Rose Poke n Hope to an excellent 7 - 5 victory on their trip to the Coniston Tavern while Pi55 up at the Piv were in the winners enclosure beating the Hare & Hounds 7 - 5. Premier League leaders Mighty Oak were pushed all the way by the Lucky Buddha's before running out 7 - 5 winners, Steve Nesden weighing in with a break dish. James Willis knocked in a break dish for Coton Bandits as they beat Newdigate Sports 8 - 4 while the Atack Snooker Club find themselves in unfamiliar territory in 4th place after they beat Coton Snooker 7 - 5, Rob Dutton producing a quality break dish. Meanwhile Atherstone Cons 'A' got their first win of the season when they out potted Gurkha Corner 9 - 3. Flagnificent 7 go top of Division One thanks to a 8 - 4 victory over Coniston Tavern 'A', The Travellers move into 2nd place also winning 8 - 4. James Thomason potted his 2nd break dish of the season for Chapel End Libs 'B' as they edged Coton Old Boys 7 - 5. Finally an extraordinary clearance from Shane Coates-Jarman helped CJ's to a share of the points with the Fox Inn.
