Coton Cuemen potted their way pasted Team Gurkha Corner and to the top of the league, in one of the best matches played in recent times. Th Cueman came out all cues potting and raced into a 6 – 1 lead, they must of been thinking this is going to be a big win. But the Gurkha staged a remarkable comeback which included an excellent reverse dish from Alan Lockton to level the match at 6 frames each. Ian Jones then pot the Cueman on the hill with a tidy finish, it looked for all the world that Zac Storor would level the match once more with a break dish before he inexplicably snookered himself on the black. Rob Dutton took full advantage of Zac's error to pot the winning frame for the Cuemen. Nathan Galt took the last frame of the evening for the Gurkha.  Coton Sports moved in to 3rd place after they beat Oakey  Cokeys’s 8 – 7 in another humdinger of a match. Sports captain Mike Parry potting the winning frame amongst his 3 wins while Steve McEnery was the top Cokey player also taking 3 wins.
