Coton Cuemen face Royal Oak in Tom Ellis Memorial Trophy final

The Tom Ellis Memorial Trophy final will see Coton Cuemen take on holders Royal Oak after both came through tough semi finals. The Cueman's captain Danny Barr got them of to the perfect against the Lucky Break with a top draw (so he says) break dish. Chris Fanning levelled the tie before the cuemen to the next 3 frames for a 4 - 1 lead. Lucky Break responded in kind by taking the 2nd section 4 - 1 to level the match Fanning amongst the winners. They shared the opening 2 frames of the final section before Rob Dutton & Michael Travis guided the Cuemen over the line. Meanwhile the Oak were given a stern test by Coton Gloves finally beating them 8 - 3 in a match where the score line doesn't reflect how close the frames were.

The Blackball Cup will see Team Gurkha Corner take on Oakey Cokey's after both teams beat Coton Sport in the round robin semi finals.
