Team Gurkha Corner pot top pot
Team Gurkha Corner potted their way to top spot with a 13 - 2 victory over Miners Loyals. Even though the Gurkha were in fine form the result could of been so much closer if the Miners had taken their chances, a little more experience with the rules and results will come their way. Ant Clarke, Graham Proctor and Nathan Galt all potting 3 wins. Lucky Break slip to 2nd place despite their excellent 9 - 6 victory over the Royal Oak. After trailing 3 -2 the Break took the middle section 4 - 1 with wins from Michelle Currin, Jaydon Dicks, Jack Schofield and Jack Benjamin to lead 6 - 4. Jonny Webb pulled a frame back for the Oak but the Jack's returned to take the next 2 for take the match. Coton Cuemen & Dan were given a stern test by Newdigate Spots before running out 9 - 6 winners, Rod Brown was in the pot zone again with another 3 wins and is yet to taste defeat this season. The battle of Coton Sports saw the Gloves edge a terrific match 8 - 7 against the Sports, Steve Pokora potting the all important match winner. Sports captain Mike Parry was in fine form with another pot-trick of wins.
