Lucky Break pot their way to the Top

Lucky Break powered their way to the top of the League thanks to a 12 - 3 victory over the Miners Loyals. Matt Guy, Clive Dicks and Jayden Dicks all in the pot zone for the Break while Steve Francis potted 2 wins for the out of sorts Miners Loyals. Team Gurkha Corner sit just a point behind the leaders and beat Newdigate Miners 12 - 3 in a match where the rub of the green went the way of The Gurkha Corner. The Smorral Laners could quite easily of won 8 - 7 on another night, Lord Joe Corbett with 2 wins for the Newdigate while Steve Shepherd, Graham Procter, Ryan McCool and Becs McCool all won 2 frames for the hosts. Coton Cuemen & Dan were brought back down to earth after there terrific opening win of the season as Coton Sports out potted them 8 - 7 in a fantastic match. To be fair the Cueman only had 3 players and Dan so put up a good fight but Sports took their chances to take the points, captain Mike Parry in the pot Zone with 3 wins and Shaun Johnstone weighing in with 2 frames. Rod Brown was player of the match for the Cuemen with another 3 wins to keep his 100% record intact.
