Well done to Gurkha Rejects captain Becs McCool who was on cue to pot the Nuneaton Pool League Ladies title last night at the Lucky Break Pool Hall. Becs produced an array of top draw clearances to beat Warwickshire team mate and Lucky Buddha's star Amy Price in a terrific final. Becs went on the attack from the break off putting Amy on the back foot and just carried on potting herself out of trouble, a great display not giving Amy many chances to show her talents. Thanks to those that came down to watch and to Nick & Jamie for the continued support of Nuneaton Pool.
On the league front Chapel End Libs 'A' missed the chance close the gap on the Premier League leaders and maybe miss the chance of taking 2nd place as they were held to a draw by the unpredictable Atack Snooker. Oakey Cokey potted a fantastic 10 - 2 victory over Rose & Thorns to maybe secure the Division Two title. While the Lucky Poke n Hope drew with Party at the Hearty and Wheatsheaf shared the points with Kingswood Tavern.
