MKSBL –SINGLES LEAGUE RULES 2025 - INTERNATIONAL RULES
1. League Organisers
1.1. MKSBL, Maria Lewis & Drew Evans are the League Organisers.
1.2. Any player caught falsifying a result or conspiring to “FIX” a result will be suspended from the League immediately.
1.3. Complaints regarding all matters are to be submitted in writing to hello@mksbl.co.uk within 24 hours of the incident in question. All written communication will be dealt within 7 days
1.3.1. If an incident is deemed serious or urgent, a meeting will be arranged as soon as possible.
1.3.2. All complaints arriving after the 24 hours deadline will not be considered
1.3.3. All complaints will be given a fair hearing and settled by the League Organisers, whose decision is FINAL.
1.3.4. The League Organisers may investigate any situation privately at any time (without written communication from its members) and take appropriate action where necessary.
1.3.5. Where the League Organisers request those involved to attend a meeting, these people will be notified and MUST ATTEND.
1.4. If a match is not played in the spirit of the game and rules of general conduct then the game can be disputed and the player can make a complaint, see 1.3. The match must be terminated. A rescheduled date for the match will be arranged by League Organisers to be played with a League Organiser present. Future games between the two players will remain with a League Organiser present. If a player opposes to replay this or future game, then they will forfeit the match
2. Match Format
2.1. Played to International Rules
2.1.1. Play each other ONCE
2.1.2. Must play min 2 matches per month
2.1.3. Games to be arranged by players
2.1.4. Matches cannot be played on a Friday from 6pm until after 6pm Saturday unless you are paying for the table
2.1.5. Each match is first to 11 frames, best of 21. All frames to be played
2.1.6. Gold Break and Golden Duck count
2.1.7. Matches are allocated 3.5 hrs table time after the allocated time the table extra time will need to be paid for, if a table is unavailable the match will need to continue another day at the player’s cost.
2.2. All frames will alternate break
2.2.1. Players will lag to determine who breaks first
2.3. If any games are in dispute the player (s) should contact the League Organiser at hello@mksbl.co.uk (1.3)
2.4. Fixtures & Results to be completed on the Rackem App
3. Points System
3.1. Match winning player will be awarded 3 points plus 1 point per frame won
3.2. League positions will be decided by a players “POINTS”, if level then ‘HEAD to HEAD’ – if at the end of the season these are level between two players then a playoff will be arranged by the League Organisers at MK Sports Bar & Lounge to decide promotion or relegation places.
4. Failure to Fulfil Fixtures
4.1. Failure to play minimum 2 matches a month will result in you, the offending player having to pay for your next match table (can play 3 & 1 so 4 matches at end of month 2)
4.2. Failure to play min 2 matches in a month for a second time will result in you being removed from league and all your results removed.
4.3. If failure to comply is due to exceptional circumstances, contact either organiser
5. Handicap Finals
5.1. Handicapped Final will run after league ends
5.2. Anyone who does not complete matches cannot enter
5.3. Races will be first to 7
League Fees £70 of which £25 per person will be paid to the club for table.
