Whitehorse Stride On To Cup Glory

A hotly contested cup final saw league champs and favs Whitehorse A take on the Dynamos 

After sharing the opening frames with wins for Stef Goudie (Whitehorse) & Blair Campbell (Dynamos), the final went up a notch or two with a great clearance from Scotland international Hugh Thomson to give the Whitehorse a 2-1 advantage 

Back came the Dynamos with 3 wins in a row with composed finishes from Michael King, Paul Gillespie & David Finnett to take a 4-2 lead at the end of the first set 

A ridiculously long doubles game followed which seemed the catalyst for the Whitehorse comeback. (4-3) A great clearance by Goudie & McLean levelled the scores at 4-4 

The league champions stretched their lead to 6-4 with wins for Stef and Shug before a quick fire response from Kieran Clark made it 6-5 

With the 11.30 deadline looming Dynamo captain Paul Gillespie offered his hand of congratulations to opposing captain Stewart Graham after conceding 2 shots 

Congratulations to the Whitehorse on winning their second cup of the season, unlucky to the Dynamos
