Whitehorse gallop to League Cup victory

League Cup Final 25/26 (sponsored by the Thistle) 

A bumper crowd made for a great atmosphere at our first cup final of the season as the Whitehorse and the Saints battled it out for the Willie McCartney Senior Trophy 🏆 

Current league champs the Whitehorse raced into a 3-1 lead with wins for David McGawn, Hugh Thomson & Robert Cuthbertson 
Back came the Saints with 3 wins in 4 frames by Craig Hart, Martin Fisher & Stuart McCulloch to tie the final at 4-4 

Unfortunately for the Saints they couldn’t go marching on as a clearance from Shug followed by a win for Cubby had the Whitehorse on the hill. 7-4 victory was sealed soon after with a great clearance from Stef Goudie put the seal on a good quality final 

Congratulations to Stewart and his Whitehorse team, unlucky to Dickie & the Saints 👏👏
