Grassroots Report 

Thanks to all that attended today and a huge Congratulations to Graeme Hay, our 25/26 season Grassroots Champ 🏆 🎱 🔥

20 competitors battled it out for this years trophy with some great games in the early rounds. 
As we reached the latter stages the experienced players came to the fore but it was fantastic to see some new faces like the young lads from Whitehorse B & Papa Gs taking part today 

The semi final line up saw eventual winner Graeme Hay pip Chris Colville in a final frame decider and likewise in the other semi as Jock Mackie edged out Thistle team mate Tam O’Neil with a great comeback to win 5-4 

The final saw Graeme get off to a great start and never look back for a comfortable 5-1 victory 

Well done Graeme!!! 

A big thanks as usual to 8ball Club for hosting, and to the committee members in attendance for ensuring the comp ran smoothly 
A special mention also for Michael Purdie who was there all day streaming and running the app
