1.      The league will consist of 2 divisions, with 12 teams competing in each division

2.      Committee Decision is final on any new teams or player registrations

3.      A new app will be introduced to manage the league (Rack Em App).

4.      Any form of dispute will be settled by the committee that decision being final. All disputes must be made to the committee within 24 hours of the occurrence, followed in writing by e-mail within seven days. Once the result sheet is completed it is final. If there are any disputes with the game, they can be raised via the app

5.      League registration fees are £70 and must be paid in full before the commencement of the league.

6.      Player registration is £5 and must be paid by the end of September 2025.

7.      Should a team fail to field a side, it is a £10 fine. Only a minimum of 2 players are required to play and all efforts should be made to fulfil the fixture even with 2 players

8.      All away teams should be allocated 15 minutes practise time, however all games must begin by 8:15 PM at the latest, so if they do not arrive by 8:05 PM they will forfeit the relevant portion of said practise period.

9.      Each player may play a maximum of three frames, however if you have only three in your team on a given night, one player may play 4 frames. No frames by any individual can be played consecutively.

10. You may continue to sign players, even on the night, up to the end of December, but name must be text through to committee prior to the game.

11. Players are only allowed to play for one team per season unless a transfer is agreed, with the holding club having the final decision, and if agreed will cost £10, if no decision can be made, the committee will have the final decision.

12.  The break in each frame, in all league and cup matches, will be determined by a lag

13. Referees, the away team provides the first, then alternating through the match, the referee’s decision in general is final, unless both players agree on the outcome.

14. Merits, all games must be completed at the stipulated venue, on or before the given date, it is the player's responsibility to inform their opponent if not showing up, automatic £10 fine for failure to do so. If no notification is given to the opponent, said player is disqualified form sub singles.

15. Doubles merits to be played on the Scotch doubles format, no talking during shots in play (talking permitted after the break off only). If a player is suspended/banned for any reason, said player may be replaced.

16. Teams level on points, frame difference to count first followed by head-to-head results. If teams are still level, then playoff on a neutral venue will be arranged.

17. 2-monthly meetings to take place (dates to be confirmed on the calendar once drawn up) As a result, fees will now be £10 each meeting and the monthly league draw will now see prizes of £40 + £20 given out.

If a club chooses to not attend the meeting their monthly meeting charge will be £20 instead of £10 + they are also not entered into the monthly draw.

If a club has multiple teams in the league, only one delegate is required, however league meeting payment for all teams should be made.

18. No matches scheduled for Xmas Day or the 1st of January 2026

19. Any team or player found to be owing the league £50 or more or bringing the league into disrepute will be suspended. All clubs are responsible for their own players conduct.

20. All teams are required to purchase a minimum of two tickets for the league presentation night and provide a raffle prize.

21. Any team failing to field a side in the first round of the cup, will not be permitted to enter the sub cup, also premier sides can’t enter sub cups.

22. All music and TVs must be kept to a reasonable level, or the visiting captain may request the volume to be lowered. If the request is refused the opposing team can refuse to play the match.

23. One rearrangement per season allowed [24 hours minimum notice] and must be replayed within 30 days of original date, all a 8-4 victory will be awarded to the team that did not rearrange. Following which cancellation of matches are not allowed for any reason, failure to fulfil a fixture results in the other side being awarded a 8-4 victory.

24. All the teams entering the league, then must meet the following requirements, their venue must be licenced and hold full public liability insurance, also it is the responsibility of the licensee to ensure that food refreshments are provided at the home venue.

25. In pubs/clubs with more than one table, practising is not allowed on a separate table once the game has started.

26. Matches consist of 12 singles at 1 venue.

27. Refreshments required to be provided by all venues.

28. The shield is to be played with 8 singles, 3 doubles (scotch format) and one Scotch Team event Players may play a maximum of two singles and two doubles games and none consecutively.

29. All perennial trophies to be returned at season end in the same condition received, failing that cost of repair or £250 charge.

30. 60-40 split between premiership and championship payouts, with top four in each division receiving payouts.

32. Player of the season will be awarded to the player who is top of the stats at the end of the season, if they have played a minimum of 70% of all league matches. Runner up prize also awarded.
