Pool Nationals

Just wanted to mention some of our Wessex players competed in a national competition last over the weekend of the 29th-30th November;

The Champion of Champions run by the English Pool Association

Each year leagues can enter their winning teams and individuals into this prestigious event.

The Qbar Potters were in the team event but we're drawn into a very tough group with a team that have won the event on multiple occasions. Sadly they didn't reach the knockout stages.

Hayley Desmond reached the quarter finals. She was then beaten by a very in form Casey Ranford-Norrey, who went on to win the event.

In the open event Scott Carpenter had a great run all the way to the semi final.

I also had a good run in the National Ladies Championship, reaching the quarter final.

Great representations of our league on the National stage. Congratulations to you all.
