Structure

All players are expected to treat each other with respect and uphold the values of good sportsmanship. Unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated in the S8PL community.

Age Requirements:

Players must be 18 years old to compete 

Match Attendance and Rescheduling

• If a player is unable to attend a scheduled match, they must notify the league in advance and arrange for a rescheduled date.

• Rescheduled matches must be completed before the next week’s scheduled match, and points must be submitted within that timeframe.

• Failure to provide notice or complete the rescheduled match in time will result in a forfeit the player at fault will only receive 5 points while the opponent receives 10 points. Players are still being required to pay for their match. 

Fees

• $30 Yearly membership fee is required at sign up.

• Dues are $35 per week per player, payable at each match or in advance.($2 per player per week goes towards a side pot for the player with the most B&R and the most 8 on the break per season).

• Payments can be made via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle.

• Players are encouraged to pay in advance to simplify league operations.

Fouls and Game Rules

All fouls and general gameplay will be governed by the official S8PL Rules and Structures. Players are encouraged to familiarize themselves with these rules to ensure fair and competitive play.  Game Rules

Playoffs and Competitions

There will be a playoff at the end of each session. The exact number of players qualifying for the playoffs will be determined based on the session’s structure. Players will compete for Trophies, Cash and Recognition as the best in the league.
