Summer Singles League

Registration:  On initial contact you will be asked how long you have been playing pool and at what level you are at the moment. Pro, Advanced, Intermediate, or Beginner. Registration is managed by the league management software                                      “RackEmApp” and performed online. Also League/s (depending on numbers) have their own ‘Whatsapp group and for general chat there is a facebook group Lutterworth & District Singles Pool League.  .  

Cost for season:  Entry to league is £20 per season. Deadline for payment is one week before the start of each season so the league can be set.   

Match Format: Ruleset played is International 8 Ball Rules (see under information on RackEmApp) and is a race 5 to win. You get 2 points per win and 1 point for each frame either player wins, two extra points for a dish and reverxse dish .   Lag or flip a coin for 1st break and thereafter do alternate breaks to start each frame. Each Player pays for the game they break on.  Ref your own matches please be honest & respectful to the other player. 

Set-up Matches: Each division has a dedicated WhatsApp group to make things easier for you when arranging your fixtures, day, time, venue etc. All matches need to be completed by the 31st August 2025.  Either player can set-up matches.   

Games are papid for by the breaking player.

All matches are played in Lutterworth or surrounding area.

Venues:  Pubs, clubs and organisations in Lutterworth and the surrounding areas with a pool table that is eligible to play on.

In the case of opponents having equal points at the end of the season, there will be a play-off race to 3.  

         Electronic Scorecards

  1.  All league scoring is performed in RackEmApp.

b.         Both players are responsible for ensuring the playing order and score is maintained correctly via the frame approval system.           

c.          If your opponent does not turn-up for a match & does not contact the  other player after the deadline for start of the match has passed the game is forfeited and the winning player gets 5 points. 

League Depending on numbers there will be two leagues (maximum 12 in each league) .  At the end of the season 3 players in Div 1 will get relegated and 3 players from Div 2 will be promoted. 

Age: The minimum age for a player in the LADPL is 18 years old.

Withdrawing from the League Competition.

  Please let the organiser know you wish to withdraw the league, unfortunately no money can be returned as it goes to running the league that season. Your name will be removed from the league and players informed within that league.   

Complaints / Disciplinary procedure

Please be respectful to your opponent 

a. Complaints Procedure.

  • i. All grievances / complaints must be made to the league organiser in email / text within 7 days of the event. The complaint must contain the following information.

  • 1. Date of complaint.

  • 2. Place of incident.

  • 3. Name of individuals the complaint is against.

  • 4. Nature of the complaint.

  • 5. Any witnesses to the event.

  • ii. A disciplinary hearing will be called at the earliest opportunity to deal with the complaint.

  • Both parties will give their side of events.

  • Both parties will be told of the course of action.

Anti-Social Behaviour

  • i. Wilfully break or flaunt the Association Rules.

  • ii. Offer violence, threats of violence, or harassment to the referee or other players.

  • iii. Bringing the Game or the Association into disrepute.

 

Competition Entries
