International Rules

🎱 GOSPORT SINGLES CHAMPIONSHIP LEAGUE 🎱

Welcome to the Gosport Singles Championship League — a competitive, longer-format league built for serious pool players.

🔥 FORMAT

  • 16 Player League
  • Play each opponent once (round-robin format)
  • Matches arranged between players within a 3-week deadline per round
  • Best of 20, race to 11, draw in play. 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw
  • Fixtures can be played at a venue of your choice

🏠 Home tables are allowed
If either player has their own table, matches can be played there if both agree — and this is encouraged to ensure the best playing conditions.

⬆️⬇️ PROMOTION & RELEGATION

Alongside the Premier League, there will be a Championship League:

  • 16 players in each division
  • Bottom 3 players from the Premier League are relegated
  • Top 3 players from the Championship are promoted

Both leagues will have:

  • £25 per player
  • Covers trophy, admin, and prize fund
  • ✅ No rake — all money goes back into the competition

  • Initial 16 players will be invited
  • If any invited players decline, spaces will open up
