The committee will advise players as soon as possible after their decision has been made. Do not change teams without transferring through the proper channels as any points you may get when you are not a registered member of the team you are playing for will not be counted.

If there is a shot to be played that could be a questionable hit or foul, or may have an uncertain outcome, the seated player is responsible for calling a tournament official/team captain to watch the shot. Captains are also permitted to clarify a playing rule if asked to do so by their player at the table.

14.   Occasionally it occurs during a game that a player starts shooting at the wrong object balls. Although it would be sportsmanlike to tell your opponent he/she is about to play a foul shot, it is not a requirement. If a player shoots at the wrong ball the opponent may call a foul.

15.   Before exercising the option of cue ball in hand and prior to removal of cue ball from the playing surface, the foul must be called and then must be acknowledged by the opponent.

16.   If a shooter so desires, he/she may pick up the cue ball and hand it to his opponent in lieu of taking the shot.

17.   Only the shooters must acknowledge if a foul has occurred; however, ignorance of the rules is not an excuse not to acknowledge a foul. Disputes will be settled by the team captains. If the captains are unable to settle the dispute, the game will continue as if no foul has occurred. A protest may be filed with the league officers, within 7 days of the dispute, for a final decision.

19.   Any comments of any kind that could be considered as coaching are not allowed by team members or spectators. A player is required to play without receiving any advice from other persons relating to the playing of the frame. No player may discuss tactics or seek coaching during play; however doubles players may discuss tactics at the table on the first shot of each turn.
