Excited to announce 1/2 Session kick off! Welcome new players and teams!

LEAGUE NIGHT FLOW:

  • 3 members from a team need to present to start first match.
  • 15 minute grace period to start first match - after 15 Minutes team forfeits.
  • Coin flip determines which team puts up first.
  • Alternate scoring & time keep. Home team keeps score & time first.
  • Tablets recommended for clock display.
    • Time-keep and score using mobile device, display match and shot clock on tablets
  • Players lag to decide who breaks first.
  • Alternating breaks, and players rack your own.
  • After each match, the winning team puts up first for the next match.
  • Double-play allowed until week 7 of a Full Session, Week 4 in a half session.
  • The Opposing team always picks the player that is to double play from other team.

MATCH RESTRICTIONS:

  • Teams must play 1 player rated at or below 450 UPL Score
  • Teams can play maximum 2 players rated 600+, only 1 of those players can be rated 700+
  • 30 Minute Match Clock + 30 Second Shot Clock.
  • 1 Extension (30 Seconds) per rack. Requested verbally by player

COACHING

  • No coaching is allowed for players above 450, talking is allowed in between racks but must not slow down the rack process.
  • Player rated 450 or below is allowed a coach during their 30 second extension.
  • Communicating the remaining time on the clock is permitted

THE BREAK

  • 8 ball on the spot (FOLLOW PATTERN) Rack your own.
  • 3 point rule for a legal break

-1 point for every ball made

-1 point for every ball that crosses imaginary line connecting side pockets (Half way mark on table)

-Any combination of each that totals 3 points is legal break.

  • If it is not a legal break - Opponent gets the option to break or give back.
  • Cannot win or lose on break. 8 ball gets spotted.
  • Table is always open after the break.

SCORING

  • Match Winner: 1 pt for every rack won after overcoming initial handicap/deficit, + additional 5 points to team.
    • No additional 5 points awarded if winning player score is 0.
  • Match Loser: 1 pt for every rack won after overcoming initial handicap/deficit.
  • Match Tie: Teams recieve the final score in points.
  • Match Forfeits: Individual forfeit: 8 pts, Team forfeit: 25 pts, Team Byes 20 pts.
