RackEmApp Issues

If you have been having any recent issues accessing RackEmApp, please follow the instructions in this video to fix the problem - https://www.facebook.com/reel/723838424025507

Please do not contact Mark if you have any problems with the app or queries about anything else related to the winter league. Mark runs the summer league and has no involvement with running the winter league.

Postponed Matches

If you have postponed a match please inform the League Secretary in addition to the captain of the opposing team.

If you're postponing your upcoming fixture in the team knockout competitions due to Grimsby Town's match against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, please inform the opposing team. Do not just assume the match is automatically postponed as there will still be teams who will be expecting to play their matches.

If your team postpones a match the onus is on your team to provide a suitable new date on which to play it within the required time frame. Failure to do so will result in your team forfeiting the match and receiving a £20 fine. If the committee feels that a team has too many postponed matches at any one time they may be prevented from postponing any further matches until the outstanding matches have been played.

Team Knockout Matches

Players can only play a maximum of three frames in a team knockout match. This includes the final frame if the match goes the full distance. You must put down the player who will play the final frame when filling in your side of the scorecard at the start of the second half.

Scorecards

The rule for filling in scorecards is as follows:

Matches are to be played strictly in the order on the scorecard as set by the team captains. The away team is to fill in the scorecard at the start of each section with the order of their players first. Neither half will commence until both teams have filled in the scorecard with the order of their players. Teams cannot fill in the scorecard with the order of their players on a frame-by-frame basis as the match progresses. Changes to the scorecard are permitted for legitimate reasons outside the control of the team, e.g. a player has had to leave, but they are not permitted for tactical reasons. Should a team need to make a change to the scorecard they must inform the opposing team captain of any such changes beforehand.

The above rules apply to both league matches and team knockout matches. We are receiving complaints about teams who continue to fill in scorecards on a frame by frame basis and change players for tactical reasons after the player selections have already been made. If your opponents fail to fill in their side of the scorecard in full at the start of each section, you are within your rights to refuse to start play until they have done so. If your opponents change a player for tactical reasons, you are also within your rights to refuse to play that frame until they have changed it back to the original player.

If we continue to receive complaints about this issue then we may change the match settings so that the app will not allow play to commence until both sides of the scorecard have been completed in full and all names will be locked in place and cannot be changed once the match has started.

Scorecard Errors

If there is a mistake on your scorecard, please use the "dispute result" option at the end of the match and the system will send a notification via email that there is an error that needs fixing. Please do not use the match comments section as we do not receive notifications about match comments.

Captain's Rights

If you're a team captain and you know that you're not going to be at a match, please make sure that you assign other members of your team captain's rights so that they can access and fill in the scorecard in your absence.
