Frank Novak Sr Update

Hello All,

For those who weren't playing at TapHouse last night, we all experienced the frightening collapse of Frank Novak Sr. 

Our community stepped up in every way to care for him. Olivia Nickschinski called 911. Amanda Parks assessed Frank & started chest compressions. Justin Guttliep continued compressions until the police & EMTs arrived. Frank Jr was called. Many of us cleared tables & chairs for the Squad to bring the gurney in & out. All of us gathered to pray & to shout encouragement for Frank to stay with us.

Joe was able to contact Jr after the Squad got Sr to the hospital & he texted Joe that Sr's heart was beating & he was sedated. Tests were being run. This was an immense relief to all of us.

This morning, I received an update from Jr that tests are continuing. Sr was able to answer questions, but needed to be sedated again.

We are contacting our corporate team at UPL to discuss our options for handling the unfinished/unplayed matches. We will notify all Captains with our plan once decided.

We want to thank everyone for being who you are. Please continue to pray for Frank Sr & his family. We are privileged to know & walk through life with all of you.
