The National Singles Leaderboard (NSL) is a nationwide individual ranking system run by Ultimate Pool USA. It tracks the individual matches you already play weekly for your regular Ultimate Pool League (UPL) team.

This system ranks your win percentage against other players across the country within your specific UPScore skill classification (Semi-Pro down to D Class).

The individual league players who want to compete in the Singles Event at the Grand Finals should pay the fee.

It is an completely optional add-on—it is not a mandatory team sanction fee.

Who Should Pay For It?

You should pay the $110 NSL entry fee if you meet these conditions:

You want a shot at the Grand Finals Singles: If you want a chance to win a class championship (which can pay out $3,000 for 1st place) at the tournament in November.

You have played enough matches: You must have at least 10 eligible 8-ball matches recorded in the league season to qualify for a spot on the leaderboard.

You want a cheaper entry option: Registering early via the NSL costs $110. If you don't register through the NSL and later decide you want to play at the Grand Finals, a standard walk-on entry can cost up to $235.

How the Leaderboard Perks Work: Where you finish on the leaderboard by the end of the qualification window dictates your entry terms:

Top 8 in your class: You bypass the opening rounds and are seeded straight into the money rounds (Stage Two) at the Grand Finals, securing a payout before your first match.

Positions 9–104 (or up to 128 depending on tiering): You get a free ticket directly into the Stage One/Double Elimination preliminary brackets without paying any extra green fees.

Everyone else registered in NSL: Even if you don't crack the top spots, being registered allows you to join the tournament fray for a modest $100 entry fee.

See you in Cherokee!!!!
