6.7. ALL STOP Situations

ALL STOP situations are circumstances in which both the Match Clock and Shot Clock must
be stopped.
The following situations qualify as ALL STOP:
• The playing area is occupied and the shooter is unable to address the table
(for example, waiting for a player from another table to complete a shot)
• Retrieving a ball that has been driven off the table.
• Retrieving a rest or crutch if one is not readily available
• If a ruling is required or if a request to watch a hit has been made
