5.9. Double Play

Double Play may be used only when a team does not have enough available players to
field a five-player lineup.
• Teams may play up to two (2) players twice.
• Teams must inform their opponent at the start of the match if Double Play will be used.
• Double Play matches must be played last (Match 5 or Matches 4 and 5).
• There will be no Double Play allowed:
o During Grand Finals Qualifiers (GFQ)
o During Grand Finals (GF) events
• The opposing team selects which eligible player will Double Play. The entire team that played has to stay so the opposing team can pick.
• Double Play selections must still comply with all rating eligibility requirements.

I will make the exception to this rule if it can be shown that the player has to leave for emergency reasons or for work. Somthing along that nature. I will agree if the opposing team agrees early on that they can pick the person early for the double play so others can leave.
