10-Ball Grand Finals Qualifier
Saturday August 29 – Sunday August 30, 2026 · Fast Eddie's Braun · Doors 8:00 AM both days

12 teams in a 16-team double-elimination bracket down to the top 4, who redraw into the semi-finals and final. The top 4 seeds receive a first-round bye. Every team is guaranteed at least two matches — lose once and you drop to the B-side, twice and you are out.

Round times are targets. Rounds may start early once all teams and tables are ready, so be on site and ready to play 15 minutes before your round.

The winner receives: paid entry to the National Grand Finals ($2,750 value, November 2–7, 2026 at Harrah's Cherokee, NC), Jam Up team jerseys, and a $4,000 travel fund. The runner-up also receives travel assistance.

Matches can be accessed via the mobile app. The match will be listed in your Next Match if appropriate, and appears in your "Matches" tile for any other time.

What changes from league night

• No double play.
• Individual forfeit is worth 20 points. Team forfeit is 25.
• 6-Ball Shootout is live as the tiebreaker: two players per team with a combined UPscore of 1200 or less, winner of the lag chooses order, lowest time advances.
• Leaving the playing area requires the allotted player break.
• 15-minute grace period, then a walkover. That counts as a no-show, not a played win.
• No practice during the event. All tables are reserved for scheduled matches across both days, including tables not in use.
• No dress code at the GFQ.

Clocks
30-minute match clock, 30-second shot clock, one 30-second extension per rack.

Coaching
Allowed for players rated 450 and under, during an extension only. The extension must be selected in the app before the coach approaches the table, and the clock keeps running. Coaching a player rated 451 or above is a standard foul. An unentitled timeout is ball-in-hand to your opponent.

Calling fouls
Only the two players in the match may call a foul. A foul called by anyone else is void, and the offending team receives a sportsmanship violation. Time fouls are the timekeeper's call alone.

Requesting a watch
On a close-contact shot with no referee available, call an "All Stop" and ask for a neutral third party, or film the shot. Clocks stop until the observer or camera is set.

Stalemate
The player must ask for it. A referee or neutral third party decides, disregarding player ability. If confirmed, the rack is re-racked and the original breaker restarts.

UPscore is calculated through the last week of Session 3 and is locked for this event. GFQ matches do not affect UPscore.
